Boarded All Up


Looking for late summer entertaining ideas? How about a meat board – it’s cost-effective, and looks just a board you’d order from an expensive catering company.

It’s all about eye-appeal, and letting your creativity loose. Look at colours and textures when you layer the various cold cuts with favourite sides. 

Here’s a board I created for an impromptu birthday party – had various mustards on the side, along with sliced baguette and crackers to enjoy and it was a celebration on its own.

Size depends on how many people are invited – too much and you have too many leftovers, not enough and you have too many heartbroken guests. Average out six slices of whatever deli you are choosing for each guest.

Just add napkins, cold drinks and good company!
